Feb 10-06 Oregon Hairy Triton
In all the years of beachcombing the coast I have never seen a whole live Triton. The fragile shells don't last long once on shore. I saw several of these. As they were live I did not take any. After a storm the following week I found several frozen and very dead. I took them home and now have three fine examples in my basket of treasures. My specimens are about three inches long.
