Jim hard at work. We have pre-painted all the siding on both sides to extend the life of the siding. Don't want to paint siding too many times.

A look into the life and sights of Sointula, BC. On an island off the top of Vancouver Island lies a most intriguing composite of community and independence- of idealism and practicality- and of old school and progressive attitudes. Distinct and in a wildly beautiful location, Sointula is the main small community on Malcolm Island. We visited in the 70's, returned many times and eventually settled here to discover all that the island has to offer us.
