Think this might be too big of a bite! But excavators on Malcolm Island show no fear. I think most Sointula men have one of these babies on their wish list of "gotta haves". Forget a sports car- this is the real deal and soooooo useful!

A look into the life and sights of Sointula, BC. On an island off the top of Vancouver Island lies a most intriguing composite of community and independence- of idealism and practicality- and of old school and progressive attitudes. Distinct and in a wildly beautiful location, Sointula is the main small community on Malcolm Island. We visited in the 70's, returned many times and eventually settled here to discover all that the island has to offer us.
