Newly retired Jim and his new pup, Zorba, enjoyed this weekday trip to Cape Scott Park with the knowledge there will be many more adventures to come with his new status in life.

A look into the life and sights of Sointula, BC. On an island off the top of Vancouver Island lies a most intriguing composite of community and independence- of idealism and practicality- and of old school and progressive attitudes. Distinct and in a wildly beautiful location, Sointula is the main small community on Malcolm Island. We visited in the 70's, returned many times and eventually settled here to discover all that the island has to offer us.
