16 inch skill saw
The 6x6 timbers are cut with the 16 inch skill saw. Not your everyday saw!
Yesterday was frustrating for the contractor. A part of the epoxy injector mechanism was missing from the newly purchased kit. He was unable to begin securing the vertical threaded rod tie downs into the piers. The mobile distributor was eventually located and the part sent by courier for next day delivery.
In the meantime, the rest of the posts for the entire deck were cut, drilled and painted with partial crew. Hopefully the 14th will be a bigger showing.
