It is very cold, blowing and snowing. We are up at the house checking for any problems. We even have icicles. Sounds kinda pathetic doesn't it? What do we know about snow and ice? Herein lies the basic problem. The coast is basically unprepared for these conditions. I am very glad we are not down in Victoria or the mainland as we are beginning to hear about loss of electricity, blocked roads, traffic accidents and general chaos. So many people are having major problems without electricity.
Here it just howls and blows this white stuff every which way and keeps us endlessly occupied making sure we stay as prepared as possible.
