Fall is definitely arriving. Mornings tend to be cooler and the sun burns off the cloud cover a bit later in the morning but to date we have had mostly warm, sunny days. We are getting painting and winterizing complete, so far without working in inclement weather

Many fishing boats return for the winter after a bleak season. A once successful and vigourous fishing community, Sointula has been hit hard by the downturn in the industry.
